FollowUp Planner

FollowUp Planner guide

How do you turn a quiet prospect into a follow-up plan?

  1. Choose where the conversation stopped. Select no reply to a cold email, after a sales call or after sending a quote.
  2. Give the tool a few sentences of context. Say who you are, who you are writing to and what you discussed. Include any resource or case study you want mentioned.
  3. Review your three drafts. Each has a subject line, a 50-110 word body, a goal and its own Copy button. Suggested send days run from day 1 to day 21 after your last contact.

The drafts avoid stock phrases such as "hope this email finds you well" and "just following up." They use the facts you enter rather than inventing supporting resources.

What does a follow-up plan look like?

After a 30-minute discovery call about payroll software, one real sequence returned these subjects and send days:

Send day Subject line
Day 1 Following up on our payroll discussion
Day 3 Resources for your CFO
Day 7 Quick question about your CFO's input

That sequence was generated on October 6, 2026. An unanswered cold email to an online shop owner produced a different schedule: day 3, day 7 and day 14.

A full sequence, word for word

A freelance web designer spoke with the owner of a small accounting firm about a booking page that clients could not find. The owner wanted to check with their partner first. With "After a sales call" selected, the tool returned these three emails in 2.7 seconds on October 6, 2026. They are shown unedited; {first_name} is left for you to fill in.

Day 1 — Following up on our web design chat

Hi {first_name},

It was great speaking with you a few days ago about your website's booking process. I recall you mentioned clients have trouble locating the appointment form, and I'm keen to help simplify that. I've put together a brief outline for a clearer booking page, as we discussed. I'm ready to send it over whenever you are. What are your thoughts on reviewing this proposal soon?

Day 3 — Streamlining your website's booking

Hello {first_name},

I wanted to follow up regarding our conversation about your accounting firm's website. Simplifying the booking process to ensure clients can easily find the appointment form is a key area where I believe I can add significant value. Have you had a chance to discuss this with your partner? Let me know if you have any initial questions I can answer to help with your decision.

Day 7 — Your website booking page

Hi {first_name},

Following up one last time on our discussion about improving your website's booking experience. Making the appointment form more accessible should directly address the client feedback you've received. If you're still considering a more streamlined approach and want to move forward, I'm available to discuss the next steps. Please let me know your decision by the end of next week, if possible.

Your timing depends on your situation and context. Generate a sequence above with your own details, then read each email before you send it.

How much does FollowUp Planner cost?

You get 3 free sequences a day with no account. If you need more, the monthly plan is $15 for 300 sequences, or you can buy a one-time pack of 40 sequences for $4.90. See the plans.

What should you check before sending?

Count from your last contact. Day 3 means three days after you last contacted the recipient, not three days after generating the sequence. The tool does not schedule or send the emails.

Include any resource you want to offer. If you enter no resource or case study, the drafts use a question or deadline instead. Review any deadline wording before sending.

Check the details, even when the format looks right. Our code checks the email count, increasing send days, body length, fill-in fields in brackets and certain stock phrases. AI drafts can get details wrong, so read each email before you send it.
